Holwell Summer Family Portraits

I have known this family since the redhead was 3 months old. We all had a lot of fun last night at Sandstone Ranch in Longmont, CO.

This mama put a lot of effort into coordinating this beautiful family. I think she did an awesome job.

I think that photographing kids is my forte’. I have a 5 and 7 year old and understand the child mentality. Have fun, make silly faces, and giggle a lot.

After I take a few posed pictures, I have the kids get up and run and play or SPIN!

At the very end of the session I asked the girls to sit with brother and keep the bugs off of him. With the last little bit of sunshine I asked mom and dad to come stand in the middle of the tall field. Justin reached for Jen and this was his expression. Pure love!
